Alcohol

The line-up: Dermot, Donal, Kelley, Martin, Justine, Ciara, Shannon, and Eadaoin. Everyone seems to love trying alcohol, So, at first thought, everyone should be welcoming the idea until… The Try Channel’s tables will be graced with a variety of Durian spirits, wines, liquors, and beers. I think Martin will be hard-pressed into giving these alcohols a 10 out of 10 this time, as he always seems to do. This should also make Justine’s therapist happy that she will be booking another session to get rid of another round of nightmares. As much as Ciara loves alcohol and insists durian fruit, “really isn’t all that bad”, we can see if she finally changes her tune on this one.

Trappist beer!

A beer suggestion I have for you
It may even beat a mug of home brew

Trappist beers I’m told have great flavour
So try some out and do me a favour

In Canada trappist beer we do not get
But close to you they have them I bet

I hear good things about Westvleteren
Give it a swig and tell me if its better en… (eh? eeeh?)

cheers 🙂

Irish Try cold fizzy piss

Even though what used to be domestic beer in the States is now all pretty much owned by multi-nationals that are headquartered in other parts of the world, the vast majority of people in the U.S. are truly morons (i’m an unfortunate citizen of this dumbest place on the planet – so I can talk). Much as I feel poorly about you all killing your livers and eating all sorts of horrid crap, I do think it would be funny to see your reactions to drinking a variety of the shite that most in the U.S. consider “domestic” beer. I started drinking beer when I was ten, and I quit drinking U.S. beer by eleven, so my beer snobbery runs deep. Perhaps a tasting/reaction of Budweiser, Coors, Pabst Blue Ribbon, National Bohemian, Iron City & Lone Star, or some semblance thereof. They’ve all always tasted like cold fizzy piss to me, and I live here!

Swiss Microbrews

There are multiple microbreweries in Switzerland now. They have a wide range of styles and tastes, from the typical blondes to double IPAs.

The Native Californian

Hi!

I have basically binged most of your episodes so far in the last couple of weeks. I figure there are a couple of suggestions/things I could send.

1. Sour candies: Sour skittles, sour starburst, warheads (truly sour), sour straws
2. California craft brews (including a peanut butter stout for Dermot)
3. Napa Cali wines, I just saw the American wines, most from California, and those were shite wines. I’m located close to some amazing wineries and could get you some really good wines. (Hell, my best friends middle name is Napa)
4. Completely random, but my grandfather left me a stash of 70+ year old alcohol, ranging from Canadian whiskey, Jim bean, and Hennessy. My uncle lives in Ireland and I could plan a trip and jsut pack that stuff with me for you guys to taste.

No matter what, love the videos!\\

(P.S. I would like to point out I tried uploading a photo of 70+ year old Canadian whiskey but no “format” seems to work)
