Fortified Wine Party!

There is such a wide variety of fortified wines out there from the classic brandies to the low-end MD 20/20. I don’t know how available some of them are in Ireland, or if the Try team has much experience with them, but it would be great to see the team try them from the top to the bottom. Some suggestions – MD 20/20, Gwaha-ju, Night Train, Thunderbird, Wild Irish Rose, Sherry, Port Wine, Marsala, Madeira, Vermouth, etc. Could be a great feature seeing the team try the entire spectrum from the bottom to the top – also the lower level varieties are an American college tradition!

Irish People Try Fried Spam Varieties

Watching you lot taste test uncooked Spam was terrible!
In Canada the most common way to eat Spam is fried.
Either in small bits mixed in scrambled eggs, in breakfast sandwiches, or as a substitute for bacon with breakfast… Some people even put fried Spam on their burgers.
I don’t know anyone who actually eats it straight from the can.

Irish People Try Canadian Craft Beers

There are so many craft breweries in Canada that The Canadian Craft Brewers Association was recently formed.

There are even apps to help people identity craft beers based on where they are in Canada. https://justbeerapp.com/article/canadian-craft-brewers-list
(I highly recommend the Ontario Breweries)

Irish People Try Boursin Cheese

This is a fantastic product! There are a variety of flavours available, they can be eaten a number of different ways. We have tried it on various crackers, breads, and with different salamis… It would be fun to see what kinds of combinations you lot could come up with.
