The Irish try Dutch liqueurs containing:
– Dropshot (drink made of black licorice and ammonium chloride made by the Kuyper distillery founded in 1695. You drink it as a shot or in a mix with Cola.
– Sonnema Berenburg a dark gin made out of 71 spices. It comes from the Sonnema family distillery which is located in the village Dokkum.
– Citroen brandewijn (very old drink made bye the Kuyper distillery) its a lemon brandy.
– Flugel,…Go let the Duck out (or the Dutch 😉 ). Its a Dutch drink made bye the FLS company in Cappelle aan de IJssel). Its drunk nation wide bye adults and young people as a shot and only as a shot and mostly on party’s (think of Kingsday and apreski party’s). You can only buy it as a small shot bottle and there is a certain way of drinking it. Take the bottle,…..tap it rapatly and fast multiple times on the table or bar. Take of the cap, and slam it down. Or or if your drunk,..open the bottle, put the cap on the bar with the opening upwards,..put the bottle next to it. With your nose put the cap on the nose,..then take the bottle in the mouth go upwards and drink it. If you lose the cape you buy the round. Or drink it as a diving boat. Thats is a mix with a small pint of lager the bottle of Flügel in it and slam the lager and Flügel down, you now on your way to drunk town.
