Liqueur native to Chicago, infamous through the city, and 1/2 of the drink combo the Chicago Handshake- this famously is given to newcomers to Chicago and those just looking to get fucked up. If you order a Chicago handshake you get an old style beer (that’s what it’s actually called) and a shot of Malört.
