The Quetman

John Wayne award-winning film shot in Ireland. Wayne plays an American boxer who moves to Ireland – the land of his birth, to live a quiet life after a tragedy in America. Cultures clash as Wayne tries to buy the land of birth and win the hand of a fiery temperature to match her red hair (Maureen O’Hara).

Have you been to the towns in the movie? How have they changed? Are the characters ones you recognize or can relate too?
