Given that Surströming has been on your show, pickled herring would fit in nicely! And to be fair, pickled herring is far more common on people’s plates here – and much more varied and edible that the afore mentioned fish-corpse.

Also, the herring should be served with boiled potatoes, som sour cream and chopped chives + butter.
